Initial Testing

To determine where learning gaps fall for each student, we perform an assessment before placing them with an instructor. This allows us to determine an average grade level for reading, spelling, and math. It also allows us to observe the student cognitively to see where we can help.
This is a low pressure, untimed assessment done with paper and pencil, along with some basic physical exercises. It usually takes about an hour, depending on the student.
While we can often see signs and symptoms of learning disabilities in this assessment, the results should not be considered a formal diagnosis.
The cost for Initial Testing is $150, which will apply to tuition if electing to enroll.

Cognitive Training
Program
Our Cognitive Training program strengthens the brain's natural ability to understand, process and respond to information, which is the foundation of real learning.
Rather than just memorizing facts or repeating habits, students develop the thinking skills that make learning stick for life. With this solid foundation, your child will be ready to tackle academic challenges with confidence and clarity.
We focus on building 9 essential cognitive skills that support lasting success in school and beyond.
Brain Integration Therapy
Brain Integration Therapy (BIT) is a unique merging of Applied Kinesiology and learning theory. It is a synthesis of both ancient and modern disciplines.
Applied Kinesiology is the study of muscles and the science of testing and balancing them to help the brain and body function harmoniously.
Brain Integration Therapy Repatterning uses information from “Muscle Testing” to alleviate imbalances in the way different parts of the brain and body work together. Repatterning helps the right and left-brain to “switch-on” and work together more fully. Each repatterning session will have a specific goal related to changing a learned pattern of behaviors that is keeping the student form functioning to his or her full potential.
This therapy has proven effective in minimizing or eliminating dyslexia, ADD,
handwriting and coordination problems and associated learning disabilities in children, teens and adults. These techniques were developed over the last twenty plus years, and bring many fields of discipline to bear on the problems associated with learning disabilities of all kinds.

Pricing for this therapy is based on customization of the students needs. Anywhere from 2 months to 8 months of services is often recommended.
